The Bronco will be built on Ford's Fiesta subcompact chasis in an effort to cut costs. The factory where it will be assembled already produces several vehicles based on the Fiesta mechanicals. To top it off Ford is targeting $10,000 as a price for the Bronco to compete directly with Scion.
Doesn't quite seem like the Bronco of old does it! In related news Ford has already sold it's first 'new' Bronco to OJ Simpson; he ordered a white one.
