Mazdas sales in February

Mazda North America today reported sales of 23,580 vehicles in February which is a 13.0 percent increase versus the same periord last year.
Mazda's strong February was led by impressive sales of its popular MAZDA3 and sporty MAZDA6. MAZDA3 reported sales of 7,536 units, accounting for a 7.0 percent increase versus last year, while MAZDA6 jumped 12.0 percent to 6,818 units sold.
The versatile MPV also saw an increase in sales as it posted sales of 1,546 units, accounting for a3.0 percent gain over last year. MAZDA5 continues to be a strong seller as it posted sales of 2,138 units while the MX-5 Miata posted sales of 1,295 units.
“The fact that the majority of our vehicles saw an increase in sales over last February proves that the Mazda lineup appeals to a wide range of customers,” said Jim O’Sullivan, president and CEO of Mazda North American Operations. “One thing all Mazda vehicles have in common is they each contain the soul of a sports car. From the MAZDA3 to the MX-5 Miata to the MPV, each vehicle offers a different driving experience yet is still fun to drive.”
