50th Anniversary SL Roadster

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster the company will be rolling out a limited edition 50th Anniversary SL Roadster.
The 2007 50th Anniversary SL roadster will be priced at a hefty $100,675 and only 550 units will be produced; you can order yours starting today. So what do you get for one hundred grand? "It's basically an appearance package" said Rob Moran Mercedes-Benz spokesman. The anniversary SL is clad in a pewter metallic exterior with cognac brown leather. It has exclusive 18-inch twin-spoke wheels that are not available on any other SL model. It also features an anniversary-edition rear shelf bag.
The 50th Anniversary SL will come with the standard 5.5-liter 382-horsepower V8, bi-xenon headlights, DVD navigation system and ventilated seats. It also features an eight-speaker digital Bose sound system with six-disc CD changer.
