Mosler MT900S to be first production car with Carbon Fiber Wheelsma

Mosler Automotive looks to be the first company to equip a production vehicle with carbon fiber wheels. The Mosler MT900S will be wearing Dymag 18- and 20-inch magnesium / composite carbon fiber wheels. These light weights tip the scales at 14 pounds for the front 18-inch rims and 17.5 pounds for the 20-inch rears.
The Dymag wheels have saved nearly 10 pounds of weight from each wheel making for a sizable difference in performance and handling. With the MT900S weighing just 2,450 pounds (1,950 pounds in the "Photon" trim) any weight saving makes remarkable differences in unsprung weight.
