Ultima GTR
First the Ultima GTR set the record for fastest car from 0-100-0 mph breaking it's own record for the third year in a row. In the process of setting the record it also established new marks for 0-60 (2.6 seconds), 0-100 (5.3 seconds), and braking from 100mph (3.6 seconds).

The Ultima GTR has now captured the record for a production car by completing the standing quarter-mile in a mere 9l9 seconds at 143 mph. The record was achieved in England at the Santa Pod Raceway using an Ultima GTR outfitted with a 720-hp Chevrolet V8 manufactured by Ultima's OEM engine manufacture American Speed.

So gizmag is claiming that that the Bugatti Veyron is the fastest 0 to 100 to 0 car, but it is slower by .5 seconds...
