2003 BMW z8
bmw.pngSeveral magazines have been reporting that the somewhat loved BMW Z8 will make another go at it in 2010. The latest rag to make this claim is Automobile Magazine which is usually a very credible source for such matters. The last Z8 (pictured above) bowed out in 2003 just a few years after it debuted. Most critics have attribute the lack luster sales and underwhelming success to the Z8's looks and not it's $100,000 plus price tag.

BMW doesn't want to repeat the mistakes it made with the first Z8 so they better get the looks right if they are looking to compete directly with the Mercedes SL class. If it goes to production you could expect to see the new BMW Z8 by 2010 priced between $100,000 and $125,000.
