Looking for the ultimate experience in golf? Well, this might be the very thing you’ve been searching for. South Africa’s Legends Golf & Safari Resort in is an amazingly beautiful brand-new golf course composed of 18 holes designed by 18 different world-class golfers. All are masterpieces, and all deserve their own Gear6 post…but none holds the wonder, majesty, and just plain awesomeness of the course’s so-called “Xtreme 19th” hole.
Believe it or not, this thing is a par 3 with a tee atop a cliff on Hanglip Mountain, more than 1,400 feet above a continent of Africa green, and you’ll have to hop on a freakin’ helicopter to get up there. From there, it’s more than 630 yards to the pin; a trip that takes almost 30 seconds for your ball. Just enough time for a shot of Jameson to toast your lost ball.
Playing all 19 holes is going to cost you about $220, but you get the helicopter ride, plus a bunch of souvenir swag and a DVD of your shot at the 19th Hole. Make that a hole-in-one, and you win a million bucks.

Before she was burning down the screen as Silk Spectre II in “Watchmen”, Malin Akerman wowed us with a short stint on Entourage and, most memorably, as Freakshow’s unbelievable hot wife in “Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle”. She has got EVERYTHING.

The next installment of the Terminator franchise is going to hit theaters on May 21st and the latest trailer looks killer. Set in 2018, a post apocalyptic world where the machines of Sky Net are locked in battle with the few remaining humans. Christan Bale stars as John Conner; no word if Arnold will be making a cameo though…
As winter drags on we can’t help but fantasize about those warmer, sunnier and more beautiful days that surely lie ahead. Somewhere in the middle of those dreams our thoughts turn to golf…and from there, they drift to Anna Rawson.
She writes, models, is a spokeswoman….and apparently, plays golf or something. Whatever she does, she looks good doing it, and that is something Gear6 can definitely get behind. We may not be able to hit the green under 8, but we know what love is. Golf has never looked so so very good.
Louis C.K. is simply the funniest stand-up comedian out there today. Check out his latest DVD released this past December and you’ll actually cry from laughing like we did. Marriage, disappointments, fatherhood, masturbation and car-deer collisions are among the many topics discussed.
It’s vulgar, it’s obscene and it is absolutely hilarious.
The first trailer has dropped, and it does impress. This will be Tarantino’s first film since 2007’s Death Proof, and features Brad Pitt in the lead role as Lt. Aldo Raine, leading a group of Jewish-American soldiers through the Third Reich on a mission to scalp and murder as many Nazis as possible.
Sure we’ve all seen Star Wars a hundred times and we know the story by heart. But Amanda has never seen an entire Star Wars movie so lets hear her tell us what happens.
Pineapple Express must be one of the strangest Hollywood movies of the year, a stoner buddy comedy that starts off like a tribute to Cheech and Chong and ends with a shoot-out in a warehouse. The story goes with Seth Rogen as a Process Server who really loves weed. Life is high until he witness a murder, the badguys track him to his dealer and things get really complicated and those two soon find themselves in the middle of a gang war.
This stoner comedy–a tale of two semi-slow giggling and lovable idiots in way over their heads–this formula has made for some entertaining comedy over the years, Cheech and Chong’s Up in Smoke and Dave Chappell’s Half Baked being two of the best examples.
